Why we chose it?
Coffee beans Brazil Samambaia is a competitive coffee that has won the Cup of Excellence three times. Our coffee seeker Jordan Dabov and coffee producer Enrique Kamambaia have known each other for a long time. In 2022, the exciting moment finally arrived to introduce Enrique’s coffee. We hope that this will be the beginning of a long-term collaboration that will provide us with the perfect sip of Brazilian coffee.
The taste:
Brazil Samambaia is a coffee with the aroma of cocoa liquor, hazelnut, gently sweetened by the aroma of cane sugar. One of the best Brazilian coffees.
Best brew?
We recommend preparing it in cezve, filter or espresso. If you brew Brasilia Samambaia on a filter, you will feel the moderate balance between the taste notes of cocoa and cane sugar. If you choose to make an espresso, you will enjoy intense coffee notes of cocoa and hazelnut. If you use cezve to prepare it, you will feel the taste of dark roasted cocoa beans and hazelnut.
Where does it come from?
Sul de Minas, the southern part of the state of Minas Gerais, is an area known for its specialty coffee farms. It is located on the border between the Grande and Sao Francisco rivers.

Variety:
Brazil’s Samambaya variety is a yellow Bourbon. It is sweet, complex and delicate. After tasting different types of Bourbon grown around the world, experts conclude that there is a definition of “Bourbon taste”. Coffee with bright acidity and a vinous (with fruity notes), sweet aftertaste. Bourbons grown at higher altitudes almost always show floral aromatic qualities in the cup.
