Why did we choose it?
We are pleased to introduce Ethiopia Shantawene – a coffee that embodies the richness and diversity of Ethiopian flavours. Our coffee hunter Jordan Dabov, says that he likes to return to the homeland of coffee Ethiopia as it is exciting, because the country always offers something new and exciting to discover. Ethiopia Shantawene features exquisite fruity acidity and captivating notes of milk chocolate, tangerine and vanilla that give each cup of coffee a perfectly balanced taste – a combination of sweetness and citrus freshness. |

Where does it come from: Ethiopia Shantawene is grown in the region of Sidama. The area’s dense forests and high mountains are conducive to growing premium coffee. It is grown by Leikun Zegeye, whom is part of Karamo Coffee. Experts taste the coffee and assess its quality and taste. Such an evaluation system ensures that the coffee is of extremely high quality. |

In the coffee world, the term is used to refer to varieties that live in a particular region and are developed over generations.
