About the coffee Specialty coffee Late Night Decaf

Why we selected it?
This coffee is for true coffee lovers who just can’t get enough, even in the late hours of the day. Our coffee hunter, Jordan Dabov, selected this coffee not only for its rich and intense flavor with notes of peach, red apple, and cane sugar but also for the decaffeination process using ethyl acetate derived from sugarcane. With the Sugar Cane Decaf process, the coffee retains its irresistible and intense aroma, with no caffeine and a light, sweet aftertaste. |
Where does it come from: Columbia Sugar Cane Decaf is grown and decaffeinated entirely in South America. |
Best brew Jordan Dabov recommends brewing this specialty coffee using a filter, cezve, or espresso machine. If you prepare the Late Night Decaf specialty coffee using a filter, you’ll notice more pronounced fruity notes. If you choose to make an espresso, you’ll enjoy an intense and rich flavor—a combination of all the coffee’s notes. |
Variety and process: The coffee beans are Colombia Sugar Cane Decaf, which have undergone a decaffeination process using ethyl acetate—a substance naturally derived from sugarcane. The ethyl acetate binds with the chlorogenic acid found in caffeine, allowing the caffeine to be extracted from the beans. This process enables us to offer coffee that is indistinguishable in aroma from regular coffee, without the stimulating effects of caffeine. It is the perfect choice for those who, for various reasons, cannot consume large amounts of caffeine. |
About the taste? The flavor is rich, with notes of ripe peach, the freshness and pleasant acidity of red apple, and a light aftertaste of cane sugar. The combination of these notes results in a sweet coffee with a balanced taste and elegant acidity. |
